Christian TeBordo was born in Albany, New York. He earned a BA from Bard College and an MFA from Syracuse University. He has published four novels — The Conviction and Subsequent Life of Savior Neck (Spuyten Duyvil, 2005), Better Ways of Being Dead (Afterbirth, 2007), We Go Liquid (Impetus Press, 2007), and Toughlahoma (Rescue Press, 2015) — and a collection of short stories called The Awful Possibilities (featherproof books, 2010). His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Ninth Letter, Hobart, The Collagist, Juked, and Bridge Eight, among others. He lives in Chicago where he is Assistant Professor of English and Director of the MFA program in creative writing at Roosevelt University.
