Elizabeth Whitton is an award-winning author who writes fantasy, science fiction, and horror. Her debut urban fantasy YA novel, HOUSES OF THE OLD BLOOD, won the 2018 Aurora Award for Best YA Fiction in a tie with Fonda Lee’s EXO. Her short story, THE CALLING, (written under Elizabeth Grotkowski) was a 2018 Aurora finalist for Best Short Fiction.
Elizabeth is happiest pounding on her laptop after midnight while listening to alt-rock and ignoring pleas from her family to go to bed. She lives with her husband and daughter in Calgary, Alberta, just an hour’s drive away from the spectacular Rocky Mountains.
