Barbara Radecki is an established Toronto-based actor, best known for her work dubbing the voice of anime character Sailor Neptune for the original English-language Sailor Moon series. Several of her screenplays have been optioned or sold, including a modern adaptation of Jane Austen's Persuasion. She has two works of fiction in progress: This Life in Circles, a multi-generational meditation on post-war trauma; and Messenger 93, about a teenage girl who believes she might be the next messiah.

 

Her novel, The Darkhouse, follows an isolated 14-year-old girl as she discovers that her whole life is a lie.
