For two decades, Carol managed, directed, and performed with the award-winning music and comedy improv troupe NOW THIS! which featured children’s theatre, interactive storytelling workshops, and scripted mysteries. Her short fiction has been published by Quail Bell Magazine, Blue Lake Review, After Happy Hour Review, and Clover, a Literary Rag, among others. Carol is a member of SCBWI. She lives with her husband, composer Arnold Saltzman, in Washington, DC. She can still improvise a 12-bar blues--on any subject--on the spot.
