Christine Rose Henderson
For Christine, books have always been great friends and companions. From a young age, they helped her understand her sense of being different, of not-quite-fitting-in to the world. Christine is a highly-sensitive person who identifies as neurodivergent. Her writing engages with socio-emotional themes and the transformative power of creative expression. She lives with her family and an imaginary mouse in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. She holds a PhD in Social & Political Thought and is the mama bear of two. She homeschools her neurodivergent son, who unschools her in everything she thought she knew. Her writing has won CANSCAIP’s Writing for Children Award. A somewhat forgetful bookworm, she’s grateful for her library’s no-late-fees policy.
