Dallas Athent

Dallas is a true-to-life renaissance woman, balancing her corporate and artistic pursuits as an American writer, artist, and now publisher, in London. In her corporate life, she travels Europe, visiting high-powered clients on construction sites. In her artistic life she is an avid writer, artist, curator, and collaborator. Her essays, reviews, and poetry have appeared in PANK, BUST Magazine, VIDA, Luna Luna Magazine, Buzzfeed, Yes Poetry and more.

Her full-length poetry collection Theia Mania, was published by Black Square Editions latest imprint, Antisentimental Society in 2017. The anthology she edited, Bushwick Nightz, was heralded in Gothamist, New York Magazine’s blog, and several other publications. Dallas has curated art installations at The New York Poetry Festival and Mana Contemporary. In Spring 2020, just after Covid-19 hit across the globe, she launched PRAVUM, an independent publisher specializing in fiction that explores themes of femininity, sex, art, death, and humor, with co-founders Jennifer Obidike and Camille Johnston.

As Dallie Ago, PRAVUM published her novel Lesser Journeys in August 2020.
