Nick Bain
Nick Bain is a Scottish Screenwriter/producer and playwright with 15 years in the TV, film, and theater industries. His first play, Prints of Denmark was nominated for Amnesty International’s Freedom of Expression award. Nick’s previous work includes Netflix Original Jagame Thandhiram (2021 – Writer, English Language) which was No 1 movie on Netflix in eight countries. The Man Who Knew Infinity (2016 – Associate Producer) Warner Bros and Pressman films, starring Oscar Winner Jeremy Irons and Oscar Nominee Dev Patel. He was the writer/showrunner of 116 episodes of the Vampire audioseries Blood Letters for Pocket FM.
Current: Nick recently sold his first studio animated feature, Gone Bananas, now in production in the UK. He is the creator of The Last Gonzo, an adult animation series in development with Oscar winning studio Shadowmachine, (Bojack Horseman) Oscar winner Peter Ramsey (Into the Spiderverse) and Oscar nominee Jim Uhls (Fight Club). He is represented by Jon Levin and Sustainable Imagination for TV/Film and The Rights Factory literary agency for books.
