Noaah Karim

Born in Vancouver and raised hearing about the lives of people from around the world who made their way to the city, Noaah was enchanted by stories from a young age. With the unofficial publication of his flash fiction piece “Stardust,” he began his writing journey. One of his short stories, “Japanese Cheesecake,” has since been nominated for the Amazon Canada First Novel Award (Youth Short Story Category). His poetry has been nominated for the Jessamy Stursberg Poetry Prize and will be published by the League of Canadian Poets in 2025. He is currently working on a collection of short fiction inspired by the stories of Vancouver immigrants he grew up listening to.
