Poqu is a Chinese-American illustrator and background artist. She loves drawing animals, people, and backgrounds to create whimsical slice-of-life scenes! She has a particular admiration for cats, crocodiles, and ants. 

Besides drawing, Poqu likes video games, reading, and trying not to look like a tourist in her own home, taking reference photos any chance she gets! She also always loves learning new things. Poqu has an interest in animal behavior and psychology (she has a BS in Cognitive Science) and more recently has been taking inspiration from Chinese history, poetry, and architecture.
