Ryan Uytdewilligen is a Canadian author and cinema lover who writes in many different genres. He studied journalism at Lethbridge College, screenwriting at Vancouver Film School, and comedy at the famed Second City. His works include Killing John Wayne, a film history book about the worst movie ever made, and the meta genre-bending children's picture book This is Not My Story. His novel Akela was nominated for a Pushcart Prize while his novella The Cattle Driver earned the Will Roger's Medallion for Best Western Short Fiction.
