Sam lives in Milwaukee with his wife and two young children who are simultaneously the greatest inspiration and obstacle to his writing, which fittingly explores the wonders and perils of early parenthood. By day, he is Executive Creative Director at SRH, a branding and marketing agency he co-founded in 2014, where his work as a multidisciplinary storyteller has received EMMYs, TELLYs, ADDYs, and more. By night, he earns his keep as a lava monster, t-rex, royal steed, jungle gym, and anything else his tiny overlords demand. He holds degrees in Journalism & Mass Communication and Digital Art from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he now serves on the Alumni Board.
