By day, Sam Juric is a writer at the CBC. By night, she is a personal essayist hard at work on her first collection of essays. In early 2018, her article on the science of loneliness generated so much web traffic that it crashed The Walrus Magazine's site.
In addition, her personal account of international adoption has been published in This Magazine. Sam was the First Place Prize winner for Creative Non-Fiction in the 2018 Don't Talk To Me About Love Writing Competition for her personal essay, Love Like Ransom.
