Sharna is a debut author, debut mom and long-serving public servant. After a decade of deciphering visas and regulations, she realized that what she really wanted was to write stories that helped kids navigate their own colourful backgrounds and heritage. She now balances the serious world of immigration policy by day with the playful chaos of picture books by night (before her 9PM bedtime, of course).   

Sharna lives in Canada’s capital with the loves of her life: husband and three petits bébés (1 human, 2 pets).
