Stephanie Duong

Stephanie Duong is a chef, small business owner, and writer from Toronto.


Her shop Roselle Desserts, founded in 2015, has been featured in Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, New York Times, Canada’s 100 Best, and Bon Appétit. She has worked as a chef instructor at George Brown College and appeared as a judge on the Food Network’s Wall of Bakers as well as MasterChef. She has also made appearances on CBC, Global TV, and CTV’s The Social as a featured pastry chef guest.


She has a YouTube channel with her husband Bruce, where they explore the magic of daily life as chefs and entrepreneurs, in their kitchen and beyond.


Her essay, “Cellophane” was longlisted for the CBC Nonfiction Prize in 2023.

She is currently writing about her formative years as an ex-pat pastry cook in Paris and her journey to becoming one of Toronto’s most beloved pastry chefs.
